We are so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Saying goodbye is very hard, we hope you are able to remember the good times, but we know that even sometimes those hurt for a while too. In time it will be easier to reflect back on her life and your memories without so many tears and grief, but we must endure that grief and pain to get to the other side of it.

I like to compare our grief and loss in life to a tree in Wisconsin, the seasons and weather change, sometimes our leaves fall or get blown off, we get rained and snowed on but many days are good. Many days the sun is shinning, the weather is beautiful and we keep growing, even thru our grief and loss.

Embrace the bad days, truly feel them, be sad, it is really the only way to get thru to the other side of grief, if you don't, you may get stuck in your grief and be unable to move forward with life and find joy again. I am sorry you have lost such a wonderful person in your life. The Lord be with you in the weeks and months ahead, we are praying for you. - Phoebe
