Albert, “Truman” Kolb Jr., 70, Independence, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Montgomery Place. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence Kansas. The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, July 29, from 6:00 -8:00 p.m., at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Truman was born September 22,1954 in Heidelberg Germany as an infant the family moved to Independence, Kansas where Truman received his education. Following his education Truman was employed as a Police Officer in Independence, Kansas from 1975-1978 then he was employed by the Leawood, Kansas Police Department from 1978-1980 before returning home to Independence where he opened the Personal Insurance Center and finally in 2003 he opened Fastlane Performance fueling his passion for cars.
Truman started the Cop’s and Rodders Club and was also a member of Mr. Shifters Car Club.
Truman was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Truman Kolb and Vivian Emry Kolb. Those left to cherish Trumans memory include his wife Teressa (Henry) Kolb of the home, two sons, Aaron (Stacy) Kolb and Travis (Amy) Kolb and four grandchildren, Austin Aaron Kolb, Ace Bishop Kolb, Tahan Riley Kolb, and Jax Saint Kolb.
