Johanna Marie Landsaw-Davis was born on July 18, 1970, in Independence, Kansas, to her parents, John Ross Landsaw Jr. and Christina Colleen Sutton. Johanna devoted much of her life to caring for others. She was a caregiver by nature, and that love of helping people carried into both her personal and professional life. She worked as a certified medical assistant, where she was able to care for others and make a difference in their lives.

For Johanna, however, some of her most meaningful moments were spent with her daughter and grandchildren. She cherished her family and devoted much of her time to being there for them. Destiny knew she could always lean on her mother whenever she needed anything. Johanna was a source of love, support, and strength for her daughter and grandchildren, always willing to give of herself to the people she loved.

Johanna had many big plans for her life and looked forward to what was still ahead of her. She was someone who gave of herself without hesitation and would sacrifice everything for the people she loved. Her role as a mother and grandmother was deeply important to her, and the love she shared with her family was at the center of her life.

Johanna and her grandchildren shared a bond that will forever remain a part of their family. She was not only their grandmother but also someone who cared for them, spent time with them, and helped create the memories that will be carried forward by those who loved them. The lives of Johanna, Bayne, Kace, Alaiyla, and Esmae were deeply intertwined through family and love, and each of them leaves behind memories that will be treasured by those who knew them. Their family and friends will continue to carry their memories, their personalities, their laughter, and the many little things that made each of them special. They will be deeply missed and forever loved. A memorial service will be held in their honor on October 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Nazarene Church in Independence, Kansas.
