Betty Wheeler

Betty Wheeler, age 83, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9th at Webb & Rodrick Chapel with burial immediately following at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Betty was born in Knoll, Missouri on January 16, 1931, the daughter of Joe Williams and Lucy (Long) Williams. Betty attended Elk City Schools. She had worked at a Bank in Collinsville and later a gas company in California. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and loved making quilts. Betty had also been a member of First Baptist Church.
Betty married James Hugh Wheeler in December of 1947, Mr. Wheeler passed away on January 18m 2012. Betty is survived by her sons: David Keith Wheeler and Gerald Hugh Wheeler and daughter-in-law Kelly Wheeler. She is also survived by a grandson: Ryan Szichak and two sisters; Louise Swiger and Maxine Meyers.
Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
