Bobby Dean Beard, 58, Coffeyville, Kansas passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life and time of sharing stories will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Edna, Kansas Community Center. The family request memorials to Abate of Kansas District #3 and may be left in care of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Bobby was born August 22, 1957 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Robert M. and Eva Mae (Billups) Beard. Bobby grew up in the Coffeyville area and attended Veleda, Ceder Bluff and Field Kinley High School. Following school, Bobby was employed at Vickers Service Station, Harry Keith and Muller Construction. Bobby eventually started B & S Transportation and continued to operate the business until his death.
Bobby married Irene Rodriguez in 1973, the couple had three children and later divorced. Bobby married Sherry Atkins in Bristow, Oklahoma in 2005. Bobby was past District Representative of Abate of Kansas District #3, and he enjoyed riding his Harley, trucking, music, dancing, his cattle and to B.S with friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by grandparents, Austin and Lueva Billups, grandparents, Henry and Becky Beard, his Father, Robert M. Beard, Step Father, Al Males, Uncle Virgil Billups, Uncle Michael Beard, a daughter Wendy Sue Beard, a step brother, Chuck Males, and a step sister, Cathy Males.
Survivors include; his wife Sherry of the home, three sons Michael Shawn Beard and wife Melody, Coffeyville, KS, Robert Austin Beard, Coffeyville, KS, J.R. Watts and wife Devin, Wann, OK, one daughter Linda Dawn Stayton, Wann, OK one brother Timmy Joe Hill, Coffeyville, OK, two step brothers, Bud and wife Janice Males, Langley, OK, Donald and wife Vickie Males, Coffeyville, KS, one sister, Donna Mae Standard, Coffeyville, KS, one step sister, Sharon and husband Clark High, Coffeyville, KS. Twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
