Brian Keith “Big Daddy” Sweeten, 61 of Anderson, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 25, 2026. Born September 7, 1965, in Joplin, Missouri, He was truly one of a kind. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Known for his kindness, contagious laugh, and personality that filled every room he entered, He was one of the most extraordinary people you could have the pleasure of meeting. To know Brian was to love him, and being loved by him was an honor.
He was a man of many hats. He was a biker, a beach bum, and, most recently, a cowboy. But his favorite hat of all was being a father. He dedicated his life to his children and was the greatest dad they could have ever asked for. He spent much of his life in sales, and he was good at it. That man could sell ice to an Eskimo and a ketchup popsicle to a woman wearing white gloves.
He had a deep love for motorcycles, the freedom of the open road, and the adventures that came with it. I guarantee you he rode through those pearly gates on a motorcycle. He lived life his own way, loved hard, and always showed up for the people who needed him. If Brian Sweeten loved you, you knew it. He had a gift for turning friends into family and ordinary moments into stories that would be told for years.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Keith Sweeten; his Stepfather, Kenny Brown; his beloved wife, Tammy Sweeten; his Aunt and Uncle Patricia and Louis Keeling; and his Grandparents Earl and Joyce Ramsey.
He leaves behind his Mother, Brenda Sweeten; his Brother Aaron Brown; his Children, Ashley Turner and her husband Matt Turner; Cody Sweeten; Kensington Burke and her husband, Cory Burke; Kayden Sweeten; and Alexis Brown; his Granddaughter, Haley Stevens; his beloved dog Frankie; and countless friends and fellow riders who will miss him dearly.
There is no replacing a man like Brian Sweeten. The world will be a little quieter without him and, honestly, probably a whole lot less entertaining. His laughter, his jokes, his kindness, and his larger-than-life personality will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Rest Easy, Big Daddy. Memorials may be made to BACA and may be left with the chapel. You will be loved, missed, and remembered always.
