Carmon Mark Kyle of Independence, Kansas, passed away at his home on October 3, 2017. Cremation has taken place at the request of the family. A celebration of Carmon's life will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Webb and Rodrick Chapel.
Carmon Mark Kyle was born on August 8, 1928, to George and Norissa (Crites) Kyle in Cisco Texas. Carmon attended school in Comada, New Mexico. Carmon served in United States Air Force from 1946 to 1949 while rising to the rank of Sergeant. While working in a potato patch in Yuma, Arizona, Carmon met the love of his life, Dorothy. The two married in 1951 and began their family. Throughout the years Carmon and Dorothy welcomed 3 children. In 1973, Carmon and Dorothy moved their family to Kansas to build a farm. In Carmon's spare time, he enjoyed fishing, carpentry, working with his cattle, and spending time with his family.
Carmon is preceded in death by his parents, George and Norissa Kyle, three brothers, and a sister. Those left to cherish is memory, wife, Dorothy of Independence, son, Harlan Kyle, of Independence, daughters, Pamela Higginbotham, of Missouri, Penny Bruce, of Dearing, ten grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
