Celesta Jones

Celesta Ardonia Jones, 65, passed away at Labette Health in Parsons, Kansas on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Following with Celesta's wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of Webb and Rodrick Chapel and Crematory and no services will be held.
Celesta Ardonia Jones was born October 24, 1953 to Pecora Hamilton and Walter Williams. Celesta attended schools in Independence, Kansas where she graduated and completed a year of college. She received her CNA and Home Health license. She later married and had three children. She worked at the Manor Nursing home for years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by two sisters, Carol Sue of California, and Karen Kinnard of Independence, KS; two brothers, Lawerence Williams of Emporia, KS, and Darwin Williams; her three children, two sons, Sylvester Jones of Independence, KS, James Williams of West Virginia; and one daughter Alice Ward of Independence, KS; a host of grandkids; and seven great grandkids.
