Deann Day

DeAnn Day, age 55 of Independence, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2015 at Webb Rodrick Chapel with Francis Aeschliman officiating. The family suggests floral tributes and flowers may be sent to the chapel.
DeAnn was born December 20, 1959 in Independence, the daughter of Ben B. Day and Barbara E. Douglas Day. She attended and graduated from Independence Public Schools. She had been employed as a Police Dispatcher for the Independence Police Department. DeAnn loved dogs, cooking and reading.
Survivors include her father Ben Day of Independence, 3 brothers Daniel Day of Overland Park, KS, Derrick Day and wife Melissa of Sioux Falls, SD and Drake Day and wife Jennifer of Independence. Two nieces Rachel Day and Courtney Day as well as 2 nephews Nathan Day and Marshall Day. DeAnn was preceded in death by her mother Barbara E. Day on November 6, 2014.
Webb Rodrick Chapel Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
