Flora Inman

Flora M. Inman, 84, Independence, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Independence with burial to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Friends may register on Thursday from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church and may be left with the Chapel.
Flora was born July 9, 1931 in Jefferson, Kansas to Perry and Marie (Mason) Newman and she attended Independence, KS schools. Flora married Archie E. Inman on July 11, 1948 in Independence, Kansas where the couple made their home. Flora was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and collecting turtles. Flora was a longtime active member of the First Christian Church.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie, and one son Thomas Inman, and two brothers Perry Newman and Franklin Newman. Survivors include one son Donald and wife Bireyna, Plano, TX; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services entrusted to Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
