Gladys Fienen

Gladys Fienen was born on September 4, 1921 in Elk City, Kansas to Bert Maude Whistler and passed away September 16, 2014. Gladys married John P. Fienen, Jr. on April 19, 1942 in Independence, Kansas. She was a faithful and active member of Bethel Lutheran Church for 45 years, worked in the Bethel Early Learning Center and participated in the Ruth Circle and Pairs Spares. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, all 7 siblings and spouses and 1 grandchild. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, 4 children and spouses Doug Susan Fienen, Nancy Barry Burleson, Ken Fienen, Karen Ronnie Bynum, 7 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23rd at the Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Roland Vega officiating.
