James William Rosenhoover, 58, Independence, Kansas passed away June 14, 2023, in Independence. Cremation has taken place under the care of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. A celebration of life for James will be held on July 8th at the Riverside Park Oval Pavilion from 2:00-3:00 P.M.  in Independence. Family and friends are encouraged to come to tell stories about James and bring any pictures they may have.

James William Rosenhoover was born February 13th, 1965, to June Marlene (Hayes) Miller and James Harold Francis Rosenhoover in Riverside, California. James grew up in Riverside and attended school there. He later then moved to Independence, KS in 1989. James was a painter for over 40 years of his life. He worked for Millennium Railway painting train cars for many, many years. James later then moved on to Cessna where he painted  airplanes. James was always willing to help family and friends with any type of painting or drywall projects that needed help. After leaving Cessna he became a self-employed painter and was continuing to do so at the time of his passing. James enjoyed playing softball, which he did for many years in leagues, as well as bowling. He loved to golf, spend time at the casino and fishing. James was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. James was a loving family man, always spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother June and father James, brother Jeff Rosenhoover and daughter Sylvia Soule. He is survived by sister Jana Dockett (Joey Dockett), daughter Elizabeth Morin, son Daniel Rosenhoover, son Charlie Rosenhoover (Lakan Rosenhoover) son Justin Galletti,  and daughter Heather Rosenhoover (Drew Howland).
