Janis Fuller

Janis M. Fuller, 59, Independence Kansas passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Cremation has taken place and memorial services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Webb & Rodrick Chapel. Memorials may be made to AWOL and may be left with the chapel.
Janis was born April 4, 1959 in Middleboro, Massachusetts to Donald and Marilyn (Zucco) Lakin. Janis attended and graduated from Wareham schools and following her education she married Kevin J. Fuller on July 20, 1980 in Wareham, Massachusetts. The couple made their home in Wareham and Janics was employed as a special needs secretary until the couple moved to Kansas 2017. Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, husband Kevin of the home, two children Steven and wife Rachel Fuller, Independence, Kansas Karen Fuller, Independence, Kansas, one grandson Ethan Fuller one brother, Scott and wife Beth Lakin, Wareham, Massachusetts, one sister, Nancy and husband Bob McCloskey, Parkman, Maine. In her retirement years Janis enjoyed Sewing, Puzzles, Legos, Volunteering for the Wareham high school band and color guard and AWOL.
