Joshua James Elliott, 45, of Coffeyville Kansas, passed away on July 6, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1979, in Pittsburg, Kansas, to James and Linda Elliott.

Joshua spent his younger years in Independence, Kansas, where he attended grade school before moving to Kansas City to attend The Paseo Performing Arts School.

Joshua was known for his incredible sense of humor and vivid imagination. He had a way of making people laugh and bringing his own unique personality into every room he entered. He was working at a convenience store in Coffeyville.

Joshua was preceded in death by his parents, James Elliott and Linda Lochmiller; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Ann Lochmiller; and his paternal grandparents, Leo and Esther Elliott.

He is survived by his two sisters, Melinda Elliott of Independence, Kansas, and Amy Elliott of Rayville, Missouri, as well as his nephew, Caleb Merriman of Rayville, Missouri. He also leaves behind friends and former coworkers whose lives he touched along the way.

Joshua was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas, where he can now be remembered and honored by those who loved him.
