Judith "Judy" W Richardson

Judith “Judy” W Richardson passed on August 22, 2026, in Neodesha, Kansas. Judy was born on April 28, 1946, to Joe and Wanda (Groves) Roskob in Parsons, Kansas.

In 1963 she married Larry Brown in Parsons, Kansas, they later divorced. In 1967, Judy married Gerald Richardson.

Judy was an instructor for the Cosmetology School for several years, she owned her own beauty salon, Canope’ Beauty Salon successfully for decades. Judy also was assistant manager for Super 8 for 15 years.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Gerald Richardson, of the home; daughter Debbie (Terry) Petzoldt of Lansing, Kansas; sons Mike (Vivian) Richardson of Gentry, Arkansas, and Steve Richardson of Independence, Kansas; four granddaughters, Ashley, Airaka, Lindsay, and Grace; one grandson, Josh; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. Private family burial will be held at a later time.

The family would also like to give special thanks to Wilson County Medical Center, Hometown Hospice, Neighbors Tony and Molly Turner, Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory and The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Coffeyville, Kansas.
