Mark Allen Koehn

Mark Allen Koehn, 47, Independence, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. A celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023, at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory, Memorials may be made to the Mark A. Koehn Jr. Educational Fund in care of Community National Bank and Trust or may be left at the chapel.

Mark was born April 15, 1976, in Independence, Kansas to Robert and Charlotte Koehn. He attended and graduated from Independence Schools. Following his education Mark was employed by Food 4 Less until he started his own lawn service.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his son Junior, working on his trucks, riding his Harley with Amber and his dad, spending time at the Lake, walking the trails at the lake with Junior and Amber and working out.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte. Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée Amber Smith-Phillips of the home, one son, Mark Allen Koehn Jr., one daughter, Jaylynn Irving, Atlanta, Georgia, one step-son Michael Smith, two step-daughters, Abigail Phillips and Madeline Phillips, His father Robert Allen Koehn and Step-Mother Becky Koehn, Independence, Kansas; three brothers, Mike Allen (Tiffany) Koehn, Iola, Kansas; Bobby William Koehn, Independence, Kansas; Kody Allen Koehn, Independence, Kansas; one sister Cyndi Koehn, Independence, Kansas; and five nephews, Tristian, Cameron, Jayden, Tyson, and Maverick Koehn.
