Peggy Obermier

Peggy A. Obermier, 92, of Independence, Kansas passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Medicalodges in Independence, Kansas. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
Peggy was born September 20, 1925 in Independence, Kansas to Henry Chester and Luna Irene (Nolte) Mull. She attend and graduated from Wayside, Kansas schools. Peggy then attended and graduated from Tulsa Business School and moved back to Independence where she was employed by Citizen's National Bank with 30 plus years of service.
Peggy married Benjamin "Joe"Joseph Obermier on April 20, 1946 in Independence, Kansas. The couple made their home in Independence. Peggy way preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Joe and one brother Jack Mull. Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Kent Mull Obermier and wife Patty, Independence, Kansas and one daughter Candace Ann Obermier, Searcy, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
