Robert O. Lowry, III, 53, Cherryvale, Kansas passed away on July 25, 2016 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 31, 2:00 p.m., at Logan Park in Cherryvale, Kansas.
Robert was born January 21, 1963 in Neodesha, Kansas to Robert O. III and Sandra S. (Messner) Lowry. Robert attended Neodesha, Kansas Schools and was employed as a laborer at local manufacturing plants until his health forced him to retire. Robert loved his grandchildren, fishing and the Christmas Season.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert O. Lowry II, one son Joshua Adam Lowry, and two sisters, Audrey Ocdie Lowry, and Roberta Ann Lowry. Survivors include his mother, Sandra and father, Lee Blackburn, Cherryvale, KS; step-mother, Nancy Lowry, Neodesha, KS; two sons, Robert S. (Jayne) Lowry, Mena, AR; Matthew Lowry, Independence, KS; one daughter Samantha (William) Kee, Independence, KS; four brothers, Michael Sanders, Independence, KS; Randal Lowry, Oklahoma, City, OK; John (Glenda) Blake, Cherryvale, KS; Jason Clifton, Hutchinson, KS; seven sisters, Carrie (Tim) Sack, Independence, KS; Leann (John) Young, Fredonia, KS; Donna Jabben, Cherryvale, KS; Robin (John) Barney, Cherryvale, KS; Jodi (Kelly) Coy, Independence, KS; Loretta Barkus, Neodesha, KS; Lisa (Cody) Seller, Neodesha, KS; 16 grandchildren, Jasmine, Mason, Noah, Cole, Skyler, Terrance, Houston, Jaxson, Memphis, Rita, Treycin, Quintyn, Reyahna, Anna, Chloe, Kyle, 4 great-grandchildren, Benton, Mason, JoAnne, Madeline, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
