Roseanna Mary Pohl Jones

Roseanna Mary Pohl Jones, 96, passed away Saturday, July 8, in Independence. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Roseanna was born Oct. 29, 1926, to Nellie Rose & Ed Moline. She was raised in Sycamore, KS, before moving to Independence to attend and graduate High School.

She retired from Southwestern Bell in 1983 with 30 yrs. service. She then became a realtor/broker with Coldwell Banker until she retired again.

On Oct. 31, 1945, she married Arnold Pohl, and he passed away in 1993. In 1996 she married Richard Jones, and he passed away in 2018. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Morris.

She is survived by daughters Melanie Miller (Mike), Laurie Hamilton (Dave), and son Joey Pohl. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
