Rosemary Dodson

Rosemary Dodson, Topeka, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9th, 2023. A Graveside Service will be held, Thursday, June 15th, 2023, at 11:00am at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas. Visitation will take place from 10:00-10:45am at Webb & Rodrick Chapel.

Rosemary (Garretson) Dodson was born on June 15th, 1935, in rural Parsons, Kansas. She was the daughter of Ralph and Flossie Garretson. She attended and graduated from Altamont High School.

She married Paul T. Dodson on February 21st, 1958, at the Baptist Church in Independence, Kansas. They made their home in Topeka. Paul worked for the Kansas Corporation Commission and Rosemary worked for the Kansas Department of Aging. Paul passed away in 2009.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, her husband, sisters: Onie Short and Ruth Brunenn.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Tammy Dodson and many friends.
