Ruth Kathryn Bailie, 106, passed away Monday March 4, 2018 at Hickory Point Christian Village Senior Living in Forsyth, IL.
A Celebration of life service will be Saturday March 9, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Neodesha United Methodist Church of Neodesha, KS. A visitation will take place from 12:00pm to Service time, Under the direction of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory of Independence, KS,
Ruth was born September 10, 1912 in Weiser, ID to William G. and Tressa A. (Maley) Neill.
Ruth married James Clyde Bailie on June 10, 1939 in Marion, Iowa. The couple made their home in Chicago, Ill. Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, playing the piano, sea shell art work. Ruth was an active member of both the Neodesha and Independence, Kansas First United Methodist Church's

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, and daughter, Jane Calmes, two sisters, Mary Leone Duremyer, and Eleanor Clarene O'Kelly. Survivors include one son, Richard A. and wife Kanchana Bailie, Belton, Missouri, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
