Steven G. Richardson, a beloved father, brother, and friend, left us on September 26, 2026, in Independence, Kansas. Born on June 3, 1963, in Parsons, Kansas, Steven was the son of Gerald Richardson and Linda K. (Richardson) Wiltfong. 

He spent years on the road as a truck driver, embracing the freedom that came with it. Steven was also self-employed. In 1987, Steven married Trudy Deathrage in Kansas City, but they later divorced. 

Steven leaves behind his son, Mathew Richardson, his father Gerald, and his two brothers, Mike (Vivian) Richardson and Mark (Wendy) Richardson. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Linda, and his only sister, Sherry Shepherd.

We will honor Steven's life with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
