Thomas Wayne Musgrove

Thomas Wayne Musgrove of Independence, Kansas, passed away on March 30, 2026, at Medicalodges in Independence. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. Graveside services will be announced at a later date. The family will greet visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the chapel.

Thomas was born on October 12, 1941, in Independence, Kansas, to Carl Leon and Clarissa (Reynolds) Musgrove. He attended and graduated from Independence High School. Following his education, Thomas married Linda Belle Davison on September 18, 1964, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Cherryvale, Kansas.

Thomas was employed by Atlas Cement as a Maintenance Manager. He also served in the National Guard and was honorably discharged. Thomas was a member of New Beginnings Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Leon and Clarissa (Reynolds); two brothers Carl Musgrove and Donnie Musgrove; one sister Shirley Hanson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Belle Musgrove of the home; Rodney (Erin) Musgrove of Independence, Kansas, Dennis (Juanita) Musgrove of Independence, Kansas, Jerry Musgrove and fiancée Anita Farwell of Cherryvale, Kansas, Deborah (Rocky) Spittles of Independence, Kansas, and Penny Musgrove, Cherryvale, Kansas; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
