Betty Wilkerson

Betty Jane Wilkerson, 52, Independence, Kansas passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday August 9, 2019 at Havanna Cemetery, Havanna, Kansas. Friends may sign the register on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Betty was born January 20, 1967 in Independence, Kansas to Ray LeRoy and Evelyn Kathleen (Reed) Wilkerson. Betty attended Caney, Coffeyville and Independence High School and Independence Community College. Betty was employed by Dana, Cessna, Lear Jet, Cobalt, Prestige, M & M Molders, Taco Tico and was the manager of Jiffy Mart for the last seven years. Betty volunteered for AWOL and was good with animals and loved her fur babies.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include two brothers, Rick and Danny Wilkerson, Independence, Kansas, two sisters Tammy ( Billy Sr. ) Eades, Nancy ( Steve) Vangilder, Independence, Kansas, one uncle Dennis Reed, Bellavista, Arkansas, five nephews, 3 nieces, many great nieces and nephews, several cousins, and her six fur babies, Wynona, Loretta, Conway, Wild Child, Small Fry, Day and Flash.

Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory is handling arrangements for Betty.
