Dorothy was born July 14, 1924 in Sycamore, Kansas to Harvey and Sylvia (Graham) Osborn. She grew up in Sycamore, Kansas. She graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1942.

On June 10, 1942 in Sycamore, Kansas Dorothy married Keith "Shorty" Wilson. Shorty preceded her in death on August 12, 2008. Dorothy taught four years in Sycamore schools. Dorothy then was a teller at the First National Bank in Neodesha, Kansas for 29 years. She was a member of the Sycamore Valley Ladies Auxiliary and the Sycamore Valley United Methodist Church.

Dorothy loved to garden. She preserved all that she grew, and would bless others with her bounty. She was a devoted farmer's wife as she drove grain trucks or fed the farmers. She didn't ever learn to drive a tractor because she knew that if she did, she would be forever driving one! She loved to do her word search puzzles as she waited for the harvest or just to pass the time. She was an avid journal writer, and kept meticulous records. She enjoyed hosting dinners for her friends and family at their home. In her later years she loved to drive the country side just admiring the view.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother Marvin Dean Osborn, and one sister Beverly Wiltfong.

Survivors include nephews Denneth Osborn, Ron Osborn, Nolan Osborn, Darwin Osborn, Randy Osborn, Larry Landis, Mike Wilson and Nieces, Deanya Osborn, Gayle Crump, Betsy Wilson, and Kim Wilson.

A special thanks to the staff and care workers at Eagle Estates Assisted living facility located in Independence, and a thank you to Harry Haynes Hospice agendy for taking care of Dorothy in her final days.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Lyle Scott, Larry Clover, Ronnie Furnas, Dee Sanders, Chad Schultz, and Jim Henderson.
