Mike had a love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and had a dune buggy or a motorcycle most of his life. He enjoyed ATV's, and going for trail rides, on those, or on horseback. He lived to see all three of his grandsons graduate from High School, and that made him extremely proud. His granddaughters recall many times of going with Papa to feed hay, bottle feed calves, and doing chores with Papa. He enjoyed getting the house ready, and always had his family at home for Christmas.
