Starladena Moody

Starladena G. Moody, 62, Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory. The family will greet visitors from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel.

Starladena was born November 25, 1956 in Independence, Kansas. She attended and graduated from Independence High School and attended Independence Community College Beauty School. Following her education she was employed by ACC / Standard Motors from for 25 years until her retirement. On January 16, 1984 Starladena married Wesley Moody the couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Starladena enjoyed working on crafts, crocheting and traveling the Bingo circuit. She will be remembered as having a big heart and being very outspoken and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Starla was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Wesley of the home, three sons, Matthew ( Linda) Moody, Independence, Kansas, Daniel ( Stacy) Moody, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Toby Howland and girlfriend Tammy Good, Independence, Kansas, two daughters, Angela Early, Pittsburg, Kansas, Tonya Howland, Coffeyville, Kansas, one brother, Steve Wiltse, Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Toni (Barry) Sigars, Wichita, Kansas, 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way.
